The following Text Applies To All Sites Operated by East Devon Online unless otherwise stated upon that site. Please take a few minutes to read and understand the terms and conditions.

The site operates as a independent party. All information on the website is checked and maintained by the moderators and administrator of the site though does not accept responsibility for incorrect or offensive content added by others (although this will be removed when found). All data will be kept within the site and not used by others. By signing up and accepting these terms and conditions you give consent for us to use your information but not for third parties to use directly. As a registered member you are responsible for the content you place on the website and any breech in this will mean that a ban may occur. You are not allowed to use racist/offensive/rude comments upon the site or it's forums and submit any spam or knowingly incorrect data. You may be banned without any notice and no explanation. The site reserves the right to change the terms and conditions without notification to which they can be found via the link on the user registration page (you must not be logged in to view this). All users are allowed to submit there views and opinions about the site to me, the site administrator, via the contact us section. The terms and conditions will be updated after this and will be revised on a regular basis. The terms and conditions mean that you must obey all rules on the site even if they are not written here and are in the specific features own rules section. All details viewed by the public will include full name, user name, phone number, website, email and some other personal details if supplied and by accepting the terms and conditions you agree to display these if supplied. The only details needed are the name (though this can be made up), username, password and email address. No others are needed though can be added. They will not be used by the site for marketing purposes.

Use of the calendar is for all registered users. Any event placed on the calendar is upon the trust of the registered users and any found to be fraud or for advertising purposes without prior consent will be deleted and the registered user may be banned. The site does not accept responsibility for wrongly advertised events.

All Pictures sent to the site are under the agreement of the subject of the photo and no pictures on the site are posted without being given prior agreement before hand. Once the photo is submitted you also agree that the photo is easily viewable by all and copyable by all. Under no circumstances will photos be accepted if they are rude, sexual or insulting and any photos submitted that turn out to be insulting or offensive for what ever reason will be taken down straight away if proper grounds are given and where applicable, proof.  Once a photo is submitted you further agree to this section of the terms and conditions and show that the picture has agreement from the person who took the picture and/or the subject of the picture.

There are in certain sections of the site rules and regulations with links to that specific section. By accepting the terms and conditions here, you also accept the terms and conditions on the specific sections. If you do not agree to the specific sections and still become a registered user, you must not use the sections where there may be conflict. All features on each site are designed to be used by local companies and not to be used by any national companies unless permitted before hand.

If any money is given out by me or the site in return for goods/services offered is not the responsibility of the site/me to declare the money to the tax man and is the responsibility of the recipient/you. If money is raised by the site for a organization, it is the organizations responsibility and not of the site.

This whole site is copyrighted and no reproduction of the site may occur in any shape or form. Some content on the site is not owned by the site. The corresponding owners terms and conditions are responsible for the content of this and any changes are not down to this site and as such can not accept responsibility for inaccurate content from these external sources and copyrights.

Any emails sent to anybody regarding the sites are for the attention of those to whom it has been sent to. Anyone found forwarding emails to anyone to whom it does not concern will be given a warning or banned from using the site(s) to which they have registered. The definition of "to whom it concerns" is those people who would not use the email to the benefit of the site(s). For example, passing onto simular sites in order to feed them information.  

PRIVACY STATEMENT

We collect critical information on our users, these include email and names. We do ask that if you are not comfortable adding any information that is not required, to leave them blank. To become a registered user on the site all we need is your name (this does not have to be your real name but a name we can call you in certain cases), username, password (this is never viewable), email and how you heard of us! For example, your name is required but your telephone is not. The system for registration is such that all users are checked automatically and all users have to show there emails are authentic. If the automatic system fails, a Manuel system is followed.

The website uses a tracking program to see how it is used and we use this information to see how we can improve the site. As a result, a cookie will be added to your computer, a small piece of code that allows Google Analytics to track your visits to the site. They do not take any personal information about you and only traffic information on the site. A full range of features that the Google Analytics program offers can be found on there website. All information stored by the site are stored on a secure server and no details are passed on to anyone and are only used by the site. If in the event of any risk to your personnel information being corrupted, all steps will be taken to notify you to make you aware of this and action will be taken to secure the information. There are cases in every site that security breeches do occur and in any instance of this happening, you will be notified if your details are taken (I will stress, this is very rare and can occur on any site or server)

All data collected from users of the site is used by the site. We use it as authorization to use many features of the site to save on "spam" filling the site. Information is also used to judge the effectiveness of the site and as a result, enables us to improve the site. All data collected by the site is not sold to anyone but may be used for marketing the site or any activity or business the site is used for/by. In certain cases, a backup method must be employed to notify you of important site news where others may see your email, in the case of this, no one may reply to the email directly and must respond via This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it if there are any questions about the content. Such cases of mass mail being sent out in this way will only be used in extreme cases and any user replying to such a email to promote a service/product/site will be given a warning. Any repeat of such action will mean in the user being banned.
